This event is one more step forward towards our ultimate goal of capturing the location, species, and condition of all the trees in Jersey City, one neighborhood at a time. This will help the City of Jersey City care for the trees we already have, and identify new sites for more green infrastructure, like rain gardens / bioswales, and more trees.

We are hosting 2 Saturday morning Sessions to do this and here are the locations for those meetups -

• SATURDAY JUNE 16TH @ SNYDER HIGH SCHOOL, 239 BERGEN AVENUE
• SATURDAY JUNE 23RD @ BERRY LANE PARK, NORTHWEST CORNER

If you would like to join us:

1. RSVP on EventBrite for one or both sessions (mandatory so we can approve your OpenTreeMap account)
2. Register for Open Tree Map
3. Download the Open Tree Map app to your smartphone - itunes or Google Play
4. Download either the Leafsnap (iOS) or the Virginia Tech Tree ID (android) tree identification app to your smartphone
5. Bring a measuring tape if you have one !
