This event is one more step forward towards our ultimate goal of capturing the location, species, and condition of all the trees in Jersey City, one neighborhood at a time. This will help the City of Jersey City care for the trees we already have, and identify new sites for more green infrastructure, like rain gardens / bioswales, and more trees.
We are hosting this tree mapping session at Exchange Place where we are still lacking tree data. Details of the game plan to come once folks register. We're very excited to partner with Exchange Place Alliance for this event! We’ll be meeting at the Exchange Place Path station.
