All are welcome at these meetups which are intended to bring individuals and community orgs, including neighborhood associations, together in discussion about topical sustainability and resiliency matters here in Jersey City.

At this April 20th we’ll be talking about the new NJ Plastic Bag & Styrofoam Ban Legislation coming into effect this May - the Plastic Straws Ban part of the legislation took effect in Nov. We will also talk about what Jersey City is doing to enforce the legislation and catch up on Composting in Jersey City and changes we can expect as the 2021 NJ Food Waste Legislation is being rolled out.
