Did you know? 70% of street litter is food and beverage waste, clogging storm drains, jamming recycling centers, and unable to be recycled. In fact, less than 6% of all plastic in the US is recycled, and even that process is hazardous to our health and the environment. 

At Berry Gardens Senior Center, SJC will deliver a presentation on reducing plastic pollution by confronting the pervasive single-use plastics in our day-to-day life and raising awareness about the newly passed Skip the Stuff Legislation, which will take effect on August 1st.
