SJC and the Journal Square Community Association are hosting a second screening of The Sacrifice Zone, a multi-award winning film based on the Ironbound Neighborhood in Newark, NJ. The film highlights the polluting facilities harming this Overburdened Community and portrays the local residents fighting for Environmental Justice. The film similarly mirrors Jersey City’s current battle against the Van Keuren Waste Facility, and we invite you to watch this screening and empathize with our community.
